I officially declare Reid a walker. Eric worked with him a ton last week and he was doing a great job walking between the two of us. Eric left town on Friday and since then Reid has become much more resourceful walking between me and the couch or me and the shutters. However, the last couple of days he'll crouch down on his two little feet, gain his balance, and then pops up to a standing position. All this without holding on to anything. He then starts walking. A few times I've been playing with Aiden and all of a sudden Reid's toddling over to me. He is loving it and is really excited to have reached this milestone. (Makes me remember my little Reid-Reid who used to roll everywhere. By the way, I usually call Reid, "Reid-Reid", because he calls me "Ma-Ma". Sometimes a name just needs a second syllable.) In the mean time, Aiden's been working on stacking blocks with Daddy. He's doing a little bit of walking when we hang on to his hands, but I have no doubt he'll be walking before too long. Occasionally, they both want to practice at the same time which makes me wish for a couple more arms, but most of the time they're pretty good at taking turns. One of the cutest parts about all this is that Aiden enjoys watching Reid walk and loves to join in when we're clapping for Reid.
