Ohio Road Trip - Day 4
Our first full day in Ohio. Once again, it was so nice to be able to let the boys crawl and walk around as they pleased. I think one of the hardest parts of our trip was that it was difficult to give the boys much free time out of their car seats. We ate at a couple of Wendy's which tend to have carpet and made it a little easier for the boys to crawl/walk. However, NO CHANGING TABLES! Seriously?!? It was very obvious that I don't take the boys out and about much because I was really surprised to find out how few establishments actually have changing tables. A curse unto them. OK. Rant over.

Eric's dad got out some toys from when Eric and Jennifer were little. The kitchen Reid is playing with was a big hit. Aiden loved the muffin (the orange object in his left hand) and it was rare to find it out of his hands the entire time we were there.
Uncle Shane and Auntie Jennifer came over for dinner every night. Here Shane's helping Aiden work on his walking. If you click on this picture and make it larger, you'll see Aiden's little tongue sticking out of the side of his mouth. He's been doing that when he's working on standing and thinking about taking a couple of steps. It's cute to see the concentration the boys put into learning to walk.
Reid was free to roam with all the nice, soft carpet.
Hanging out with Grandma.

Aiden climbed into the toy tub.
And then realized he had the perfect plan for climbing on top of the coffee table. I think this was the only time he climbed up on the table, so we must have kept him distracted enough during the rest of our visit.

Cousin Jordan came over to hang out after he was done with work. Jordan and Aiden.
Aiden back to working on walking with Uncle Shane.
Jordan's girlfriend teaching Aiden how to text.
Aiden playing with Uncle Shane. Aiden warmed up to everyone almost right away. Reid was a little more reserved this time around. He ended up with a fever a couple of days later, so in hindsight, I don't think he was feeling his best.
