Here are my running buddies this morning. The sun was reflecting off the garage door in the first picture. None of us could look at the camera.

After we moved to the shade, we took a much better picture.

Less photo taking, more running, Mama.

Yeah. Let's get moving.

After we return from the run, I give the boys a little snack of milk and Cheerios and then let them crawl up the stairs to take a nap. They start off really excited to have full access to the stairs, but have started noticing it's a trick. Half the time, Aiden will crawl half way up the stairs and then start crawling back down. I've started hiding in their bedroom and calling out "Where's Reid? Where's Aiden?" to entice them to finish the journey.

They wake up from naps around noon, so it's time for lunch. The boys have done a great job adjusting to eating all real food (i.e. not baby food) and so far have eaten everything they've tried. After lunch they play for a couple of hours and then it's time for tricky Mama to get them to crawl upstaris again for afternoon naptime, somewhere between 2 and 3 p.m. Today I let them crawl back downstairs after the nap. I know it's hard to tell, that they're moving backwards. Aiden uses this skill when getting off of the coffee table, so I figured I better get Reid some practice if he's going to be able to safely get down from the coffee table too. My heart still races thinking of them climbing up on the coffee table. They haven't done it for a couple of days, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Unless they've moved on to super-manning off of the couch.

The last couple of evenings we've headed over to Grandpa and Grandma's for supper. So much to explore and destroy, so little time before Mama scoops them up and heads back home.

Sometime between 7 and 8 p.m., we end the day with some sippy cup milk and a few books. Good ol' summertime.
