July Misc.

Aiden trying on Grandpa's hat. I mean "ha-T", according to Aiden.
Go, Rockies! Or as Aiden says, "Go, Ra!".
We've been giving the boys the opportunity to practice using spoons. They're pretty good and both favor using their right hands. Reid can stick with it for quite a while.

Aiden was doing a good job in these pictures, but sometimes he outright refuses to grab the spoon and just opens wide so we can feed him.

A couple of cute Aiden smiles. He was allowed to be on the stairs at this point.

Reid putting the balls in a ball-ramp-spinner thingy that our neighbor handed down. It's amazing to realize a few months ago, he could barely hang onto the balls.

Don't you love seeing little kids crouched down like this?
It was really hot last week, upper 90's. When these photos were taken, the boys were going back and forth between the two vents, enjoying some nice, cool air.

Then time to play with their puppies, birthday gifts from Sandy. Good thing they both have one. They were fighting over one of them until I encouraged them to get the other one too.

Reid giving me the I'm-hungry-now look. He was playing with Eric while I was getting supper ready, but he kept coming back to the gate so I could feed him snacks while I finished.
After supper vacuuming. Touching the vacuum. OOooh.

One time when we were giving the boys bread, Reid put it up to his head. So I said, "Bread on your head." Now all I have to say is, "Would you like some bread?", and he touches it on the top of his head before it goes in his mouth. Luckily this trend has not been used with messier foods.
Hair cutting time again. Reid did quite a bit of crying again, but at least I was faster this time.
Aiden started crying just by watching Reid get his haircut. By the time it was his turn, he really didn't cry much at all. Our new approach was to have the boys facing Eric as they sat on his lap. Makes it a little easier for me, although Reid still looks like he has a little bit of a rat tail. Tough spot to trim with a squirmy little guy.
Cute Reid pic.
Major double chin trying to get away from the tooth brush.
Aiden working on brushing his teeth.
This morning. Would be nice to say Eric was out of town. But, nope. We were both here in the kitchen. Those sneaky boys.

Eric and I went to a Kenny Chesney concert last night at Red Rocks. (Where graduation is held.) We ended up getting soaked, but enjoyed it, none the less.
