Happy Friday!

This picture was meant to capture the boys' messy faces because they love to feed themselves almost exclusiviely now. However, the message that was being sent was "We don't want to spend one more second in these stinking high chairs. OUT! NOW!

We're in the process of switching from two naps to one nap. I'm not a big fan and the boys are having major meltdowns. I don't think it was the best idea for us to try the switch the day before Eric left town. Backup support would have been nice. Plus, he's missing out on the all the horror fun. Second bad idea was switching in the middle of the school week. We should have waited until the weekend, because I've had an awful time getting home earlier from school so I can feed the boys lunch earlier and get them down for an afternoon nap earlier. Eventually, we'll all make the adjustment. Uff-da!



After a good long nap and eating a good supper, you can see the boys were in pretty good spirits during bath time this evening. We read lots of books, drank some milk (more like guzzled milk, because they did 500 laps in the upstairs hallway, post bath), and sang The Itsy Bitsy Spider on the way up to bed. I can still carry them upstairs at the same time, but we'll see how much longer that lasts. They're getting so big.
