Checking In

Hello, out there in the blogosphere.

Busy, busy. Busy being a mama and a wife and a teacher, but tonight I've been busy downloading photos from my phone to my computer. Yah! The battery on my camera was dead, so I'm charging it up and will download those photos in the morning.

Here's a little look at today. The boys and I went for a run after lunch. It was beautiful today. Plus, I love seeing all the beautiful leaves going through their fall change.

Lovely fall weather.

At the end of our run, we always stop to pick up the mail. The boys know they get to hold a piece of mail until we get home and start wiggling with anticipation as soon as I put the key in the lock. You may have noticed that Aiden is missing a sock. Not only does he take them off during nap time, but he occasionally takes them off while running. Luckily, I took a peek at him today and noticed he was holding the sock in his hand so I was able to hang onto it myself. Last week, I wasn't so quick. We were making one last lap around the lake when I noticed something small and bright white on the path. As I got closer, I realized that Aiden must have thrown his sock overboard on our previous lap. I guess I was fortunately that I had one last lap in me.

Finally, before nap time I was trying to coax the boys upstairs. They stopped halfway up to play a little game of "Up/Down". Stand up, sit down, giggle, giggle. Stand up, sit down, giggle, giggle.
