Today I set up camp at my mom's house to work on grading. In case you've ever wondered, the only joy associated with grading is getting it done. I really do enjoy teaching overall. This year had been especially difficult as I'm rewriting the Algebra 1 curriculum. There's no time to do that and keep up with grading. It was good to get a lot accomplished and I'm hoping my students were cherubs for the sub.

I had book club tonight which I really enjoy. This month's book was "Still Alice" and I would recommend it. I noticed it's coming out as a movie in January, too.
