December Daily 11

When I arrive home, the boys sometimes rush to the garage door so they can help me drive the van into the garage. Tonight was Aiden's turn to ride shotgun. He told me tonight that he is going to drive a race car when he grows up and we can come watch. Sounds like something his cousin Jordan probably said when he was little.

While Reid got to steer.

Aiden was pretty proud of himself to figure out he could "interrupt" our photo.

Five more days until the boys get to tell Santa what they want for Christmas. Aiden wants a Lego set that has a police helicopter. He spent most of Thanksgiving break trying to convince me to drive to Target to buy it. I told him he should put it on his Christmas list and see what Santa thought. After that his campaign kicked it up a notch. He said he had lots of robbers that needed to be caught so he now needed THREE police helicopters. He said we could buy one of them and not tell Santa. I'm not sure if I should be worried about his deviousness or proud of his creative problem-solving.
Reid wants a new Wii U system. Every time we're at Target, we spend quite a bit of time at the Wii U kiosk. The boys even told me they have enough money in their piggy banks to buy it. Tough being patient for Christmas.
