I received this picture from my Uncle Kent. I'm one step closer to having recorded everyone who came over Thanksgiving evening. What a cute picture of him and Aiden.
Sunday evening- I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I think Eric was working on putting up the Christmas lights while the boys and I ate supper. I know he was in town. I had been gone for part of the afternoon, and they ended up being extremely fussy. Aiden was trying to tear his way out of his high chair, so I took him out and let him sit on my lap and eat dried apple pieces from my salad. I had to get up to grab something so I sat him in my chair. Well, that was just the best thing ever. Guess who immediately wanted to sit in a chair too? I'm not ready for this move to be permanent, but they did look pretty cute.
I took the boys with me to run some errands a couple of weeks ago. One of our first stops was the car wash.
Bad idea. Aiden was mostly fine, although he kept his deer in the headlights look during the entire cycle. Reid was scared. Poor little guys.
By our next stop they were doing better, but were still not happy with me.
The boys are into teasing us now. Pretending to hand us items and then pulling them away at the last second, etc. Their favorite trick in the bath tub is to stand up and pretend like they're ready to get out.
And then quickly pop down, and scoot out of reach. Giggle, giggle, giggle.
Do you think we'll be able to get a picture worthy of sending out for Christmas? Judging by this little test, I don't think so.

Went to Gunther Toody's with the family on Saturday night. Reid worked on reading from a menu. Mac & Cheese, please.
Aiden preferred to steal my menu. What do you mean you need to be able to read this, Mama?
Eric, the boys and I stopped off at the grocery store on the way home. Since there were two of us to carry the boys to the entrance, we thought we would give one of the car carts a shot. Reid did most of the steering. They seemed to enjoy something different.
Chasing after Daddy.
Finally, a video. Monkeying around with Daddy.
