November 1st and 2nd

I'm attempting to catch up with the ol' blog.

November 1st:
We've had a pretty mild fall so far. A couple of snow falls, but the sun is usually back the next day. We've tried to take the boys outside as much as possible. In these photos you can see the boys' scraped up forehead, Aiden, and nose, Reid. Eric and I scramble around trying to keep them falling, but you know how it goes.

Meeting our neighbor's dog.

November 2nd:

Despite the nice weather, we didn't have as many trick-or-treaters this year. This gave the boys plenty of leftover candy to play with.

The boys wanted to go outside again and they couldn't understand why the recent snowfall would stop them. I did let them feel the snow, which only made them more frustrated.

Eric came up the good idea of letting the boys draw with crayons. The last time I tried was at the beginning of the summer. I spent most of the time trying to keep the boys from eating the crayons. This time around, much less time was spent trying to eat the crayons. We even managed to get some scribbles on the papers. I was trying observe which hand the boys used for drawing. They were both mostly using their left hands, although when they're holding a crayon or another object in their left hand, then sometimes they'll choose to draw with their right. The boys and I were drawing on a magna-doodle type toy last week. Both of them ended up transferring the pen to their left hands. We'll see, but maybe we have a couple of lefties! I always thought being left-handed would be so neat.
