Did you solve the riddle?
What do farmers use to do math?
A cowculator.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. If you're groaning at that answer, just know that you're in good company. My students did too when they figured out the answer. At least it kept them entertained/motivated to complete the problems.

End of August:

Some photos from this past week. Trying on Daddy's hat. Reid especially enjoyed this. When we passed the hat to Aiden to try on, Aiden passed it back to Reid. I guess he was enjoying watching Reid.

You can see Aiden was really excited to have his picture taken with me.

I turn my back and suddenly Reid has Aiden's sippy cup and spoon. I think I finally figured out how this happens. So, now I guess we need to figure out how to teach them when to share and when not to share. No problem. Ha.

Monkeying around.

Aiden's been working on switching between walking forward and walking backwards. He's getting pretty good at it. Sometimes he'll add some spinning practice into the mix.

Love those cute little feet.
My running buddies before we explored the neighborhood.
I've been trying to get the boys to sit still for a picture while sitting on the bottom step. It's really cute. Trust me.
No wonder Reid's getting so tall. Lots of stretching practice.

We've started a new campaign of making a big deal every time the boys put their sippy cups in the circle (cup holder). It has helped cut down the frequency of dropping/throwing them on the floor. Somewhat.

Cheers!
Stretch.
And success.
What if you need a super-super-super hero? No problem.
Super Reid insisted on wearing three capes on this particular day.
While Super Aiden went under-cover.

Getting closer to getting the picture.

Aiden pointing out the cupboard I forgot to lock up.
Reid "helping" me get water for supper.
Good news, extra help arrived.

Beginning of September:

Chatted a little bit with Cousin Julie on Facebook today. While I was waiting for her replies, I moved the boys into the living room after lunch.
Reid was vigilant about alerting me when a new message arrived.
We downloaded Skype, so hopefully we'll be able to do a video chat with her soon. She's in Denmark and made a comment that she can't understand most of the children because not many speak English. That sounds familiar. My children don't really speak English yet either. Lots of cute gibberish though.
The boys and I enjoyed supper at Panera with Grandpa and Grandma tonight.
