August, Part 3 (camera photos)

Aiden surfing the net with Grandpa up in Vail.
Here, let me help.
I love how Reid is standing in the next couple of photos. Cute little milk belly.

Checking out the cabinets.
Here, Aiden. Let me close this for you.
Grandpa, Eric, the boys, and I walked around our hotel facilities. We found a gym just across the street from our condo. Here's Jumping Jim.
Eric still has the touch.
Aiden and Reid working on their ball-handling skills.

The happy couple, Karen and Travis.
Us.
High five for cousin Paul.
Let's check to see how many teeth Aiden has. Judging from the bite marks on Reid's arm, I'd say four on top and two on the bottom.
Who me? Aiden's been trying to bite Reid quite a bit lately. Coupled with his shirt-soaking drooling, I'd say he's working on teething. The other day I was two feet away from the boys filling out some paper work before I got their snacks. Apparently, I took a little too long. All of a sudden Reid started sobbing. I looked up and Aiden was still chomping down on Reid's arm. I had to pry his mouth open to free Reid's arm.
A common question we're asked is whether the boys ever cry at that same time. Not very often, but sometimes it does happen. In this case, Aiden was trying to bite Reid's finger while Reid was trying to hit Aiden's face. It was close to nap time.
Last summer, I started stashing granola bars in the boys' nursery. The only way I could rock both of them at the same time was to hold them on my nursing pillow. Occasionally, I would get lucky and both of them would fall asleep at the same time. Which meant I couldn't move them to their cribs without waking them up. So while they napped, I hung out with snacks stashed nearby. Reid discovered one of them when they were exploring the drawers one morning. He held onto it until he finally needed a thumb-sucking break. (I actually got a smile from Reid when I asked for it.)
Aiden too. At least you can see the smile in his eyes.Dani and Kacey- two of the best babysitters. This was the first time they babysat and the boys loved playing with them.
My college friend Rachel was in town for a wedding in Monument this weekend. She stopped by for a couple of hours today. It was so good to catch up. Aiden wasn't so sure about picture time.
But Rachel quickly got him giggling.

You may need to sit down for the next few pictures. With all this walking, I think my babies are now toddlers! Gasp.

Adien's favorite drawers. He especially likes the red lids.
Reid likes the baby item drawers. (The yellow car went with him everywhere today.)
Aiden brought a lid over to Reid.
They eventually moved into the front living room with their lids.
