On the calculator fund-raising front, I called the foundation on Monday to check to see if there had been any donations. She said that they tend to add up their accounts at the end of the month, so she would have a better idea at the beginning of September. Good thing I'm so incredibly patient. Ha.
Now, some pictures...
Snack time at the end table.
My bath time spot. Two pics- first with Aiden smiling and the second with Reid smiling.
Last weekend we went up to Vail to attend a wedding for one of my colleagues, Travis. We rented a condo and brought my parents along so they could watch the boys while Eric and I attended the wedding. Thanks, Grandpa and Grandma! (While we were up in Vail, I told my dad he was lucky to be a nanny so that he could go on such a nice vacation. He rolled his eyes at me. I think that was his way of saying thank you.) Heading up I-70 into the high country.
Reid playing peekaboo at the condo.
I see you!
Playing with the bath tub letters.
Playing in their nursery. (Can I call it a nursery anymore? Are they too big for that?)
Trying to measure Reid's height.
2 feet, 8 inches.
Not so easy to get Aiden's height.
He wanted to play instead.
Then Reid went to go check out the glider.
So, I tried to get Aiden's height again.
2 feet, 6 inches?
Off to the hallway for running practice.
Reid's signature non-smile.
Next location, the stairs.
Grandma was out of town for a few days, so Grandpa joined us for supper the last few nights. The boys were especially excited that he let them up on the couch. Look, Ma!
Reid rediscovered the joy of splashing. Aiden and I usually just try to ride it out.
My running buddies. Reid is now to the point that he starts leading me to the gate by the garage door when it's time to go for our morning run. I think they both enjoy the chance to get outside each day.
Usually we run circles around the pond which is about 0.6 miles around.
Near the pond, there is a house with the most beautiful flowers. I look forward to seeing them bloom every summer.
