Since winter is *right around the corner in Minnesota, I decided my little niece-to-be needed a cute little winter hat. (*Just kidding, Midwesterners. I'm sure you're still trying to repress the memories of last winter.) My dad watched the boys on Wednesday so I could go to the dentist. I snuck in a quick stop off at my favorite local yarn shop, A Knitted Peace and picked up some variegated yarn called Rainbow Sherbet, which is a beautiful mix of pink, yellow, orange, and white.
I'm so excited to meet my niece. It will take a lot of will power to not demand that Eric rent a small airplane (or borrow a big one at the airport) and fly us straight to Minneapolis when she arrives.
I also want her to know that she'll have one of the coolest Grandpas around. Not many can say that their dad is one of Glee's biggest fans. But, that's my dad. A truly devoted gleek.
Eric's been gone since Tuesday and returns tomorrow. It's been a long week. Overall the boys have been good, but they've certainly kept me on my toes. They've been pulling down the gate again. I tried to set it up diagonally across the stairs, so that it would have tension on all four tension points. My friend Stacy was over to discuss calculators (don't be too jealous) and teaching ideas this afternoon. I could hear a lot of heavy breathing from Aiden and then realized he was on the landing. Apparently, he is part mountain goat.

I LOVE the hat and can't wait to keep her warm in it! Though the winter part can wait indeed (still haven't quite recovered).
That hat is TOO CUTE!
That hat is ADORABLE Keri! Your boys are quite the little movers:)
I love the hat!! Great job!
What a cute hat! Elizabeth and your dad can compare Glee notes the next time they meet. She saw the movie today.
