Aiden and Jacob checking out Aiden's newly bare feet.
Reid, Jacob, and Aiden watching the big kids play with the water feature. Shortly after this, Reid decided to sit down. In the water. Aiden's pants soon became wet as well; hence the lack of pants in future pictures.
We decided to sit down in the shade for a while. Neither of my boys has really had the chance to touch grass before, so they didn't really like the feel of it at first. When I relayed this story to Eric, I said we better get the boys out more often or they'll end up being the weirdos who are afraid of grass. However, it will take a gaggle of adults to keep them from eating the grass, sand, and rocks. I fished quite a few of those items out of Reid's mouth today.
When my mom put Reid on the grass, he enjoyed lying there, but he did keep his arms and legs off of the grass the entire time. When he was on his belly, he did his old skydying pose to keep his arms from touching the grass.
Aiden didn't want to be risk touching the grass at all, so he quickly ended up back in my lap.
Marita taking Jacob over to the play equipment. He enjoyed going down the slide and climbing on the platforms.

Aiden and Reid checking out the play equipment through touch...
and taste, of course!
Getting ready to head home.
Jacob's a great little walker when he's hanging on to someone's hand, Jeani said. He doesn't like to try it on his own quite yet.
Tonight while I was picking up, I put the boys' sippy cups on one of the end tables. I purposely put Reid's closer to where they were playing because he usually beelines it straight for the sippy cup as soon as he sees it. Once Reid had his sippy cup, Aiden was smart enough to figure out that his was the other one and went around to the other side of the table. Of course, that didn't stop Reid's next move.
