Tonight, Aiden gave me a heart attack and proved otherwise. For the past couple of days he's been trying to swing his leg on top of the coffee table. I've been silently laughing to myself that he's way too short for that approach to work. When I returned from a few brief minutes in the laundry room, the joke was on me. I nearly had a heart attack as I discover Aiden on top of the coffee table. He was very pleased with himself and kept on grinning at me, ear to ear. Look what I can do, Mama! Reid tried to give it a shot by laying his belly on the table and flapping his arms up and down. I'm sure they'll be discussing the logistics during "nap" time tomorrow and he'll soon be joining his brother.
Or, I may have to have grandpa come help me move the table out of the room.
I think Reid had the right reaction, OOoooOOOoohhh!!!!
P.S. I just tied the red ribbon around the coffee table to keep my monkeys from pulling the table up into the "TV tray" position.
