Biking Bear Creek Lake Park

Eric and I were led by Hess (Eric's former roommate) through some bike trails in Bear Creek Lake Park today. It was fun to explore some new terrain, although it was a little more rocky and treacherous than our paved trail around Chatfield Reservoir. My favorite parts were when we were next to the creek- it was beautiful under the cover of the cottonwoods. Wish I could take pictures through some special camera implanted in my sunglasses. The memories in my brain will have to be good enough.

Took my go-go-gadget gps watch along for the ride. According to the watch's summary we covered 12.29 miles in 1 hour, 27 minutes, and 45 seconds. The average speed was 8.4 mph, average heart rate was 114 bpm and I burned 581 calories. Of course, this statistical nerd enjoyed collecting all of this data.
