We were very lucky to inherit two tricycles from two different neighbors in the past couple of weeks. The boys love being pushed, but haven't quite figured out that they can push the pedals. Or they have, but they prefer Daddy do all the work. They're doing a great job with their new shoes, too.

Bad to the bone?

I tried to line them up to get a side-by-side picture, but Reid thought it was funnier to scoot backwards out of the shot.

Then, the boys decided to run away. At least they turned around to say "Byyyyeeee!"

Off to Grandpa and Grandma's house:

Just kidding!

You didn't think we would actually leave you, Mama?

Back to picking up pebbles:

And throwing. Reid still had dirt in his hair after we gave them a bath that evening.

More biking times. Reid likes to help push:

A place for everything, and everything in its place. Reid likes to pick up rocks and put them back where they belong.

They actually listened to their mama and stayed put long enough to get a photo together:

Fighting over who gets to drive. A preview of the biggest fight we'll have in 14 years.

Yummy grocery store kiddie cookies:

It's been a while since I subjected them to a car wash. The last time, Reid was sobbing by the time we were done. This time, his bottom lip did quiver a little bit, but he managed to hold back the tears. For Aiden, it was no big deal.

Reid, in time-out for throwing his bowl of apple sauce at lunch. He was sneaking out of the time-out corner to see if I was watching.

Time-out is especially fun when brother comes to join. When I was talking to Reid at the end of time-out and explaining what he did wrong, I asked if he understood. I always have to keep a poker face, because he always nods his head (with great emphasis and forgive-me-eyes) and says "yeah". I finally discovered that he'll say "yeah" to any question I ask him, because he knows that is usually his ticket out of time-out. Aiden nodded his head too, when I asked Reid if he was ready to be a good boy. Two for the price of one, I guess.

A few hours later, Reid had shimmied behind the great wall to try to turn on the DVD player. There's a reason why this bold one serves 95% of the time-outs.
