Diaper. Washing Machine. Again. Sigh.

Saturday Morning. Must have been sleep-walking through chores, because I managed to wash one of the boys' diapers again. By now you're probably wondering what it looks like, so here you go:
Aiden enjoyed supervising my vacuuming of the laundry. He was without his glasses because one of the lenses popped out Friday night and I could not find it anywhere. Eric took the boys over to the eye clinic on Monday and by Thursday, we had a new pair of glasses for Aiden. Luckily, we just barely made it in under the warranty and did not have to pay for the replacement pair.

I've been trying to clean out the basement and brought up an old box to be recycled. The boys told me it was their boat and used spoons as oars:

Grandma took pity on me after my rough start to the weekend (and after a loooong week with lots of night time school work) and took us out to Noodles & Company for supper:

It was nice enough on Sunday morning that the boys were able to play outside while at the church nursery:

"Go Twins!"
Aiden was posing very nicely, but I could not get him to look at me:

"Go Vikings!"
We bribed Reid with the promise of a cookie if he could sit still while we took the pictures with Grandma. As soon as we went inside, he sprinted for the kitchen and knew just where to go for delivery of that promise:
I trimmed my mom's hair and Reid helped me with the styling:

Some of our favorite iPad apps include:
- Monkey Preschool Lunchbox
- Monkey MathSchool Sunshine
- LetterSchool (This one is really neat. It involves tracing letters and number in the same way you would write them. There are three levels for each character, with the last one requiring the user to write the letter with very little guidance. Reid is getting quite good at this one.)
- Interactive Alphabet - ABC Flash Cards
- Elmos Loves ABCs for iPad
- The Lonely Beast ABC
- I Hear Ewe- Animal Sounds for Toddlers (Also has non-animals.)
- Thomas and Friends Engine Activities

Reid is playing with LetterSchool and Aiden is playing Monkey Preschool Lunchbox:
Reid still finds comfort in holding on to Eric's ear:
He quickly told me "No pictures!" Eric showed solidarity and joined him in protest:

Friday night splish-splash!

"Helping" with dishes:

I made some leg-warmers for Leah's birthday party, which is on Sunday. I love making these- very fast and cute! In the meantime, the boys colored.

The two on the left are for Eva. I couldn't resist the stars. The three on the right are for Leah. Fun to have an October birthday to celebrate.
The nice lady at the grocery store pharmacy gave the boys suckers. That was the most quiet trip I've had with them. Ever. I may have to start stashing Dum Dums in my purse.

I let them hold cards from my wallet at check out. They told me they were taking pictures with their "phones".
A little rainy when we arrived home.
When I was done carrying in the groceries, I told the boys it was time to pick up. Reid found an old burp cloth in the garage to dry off his hockey ball. I wonder if he had seen Eric do the same thing.

Aiden, the master parallel-parker.

I've been writing down some of their favorite phrases. Actually, since it's the digital age, I've been keeping a note in my phone.

"Coming, Mommy?" (Especially said when we're walking up or down the stairs. I ask them if they are coming and they say "YES!")
"Now you see better?" (Reid asks this after he turns on a light. I'm sure the electric company is continuing to benefit from his joy of always turning on as many lights as possible.)
"I sad." (Aiden says this after he stops crying or when he's looking for a little TLC.)
"Licious." (Delicious.)
"Brudder crying?" (Brother crying?)
"I do it!"
"Mines" (Mine.)
"Thaaaaaanks. Welcome."
"Other cheek." (We got into the habit of getting kisses on the cheeks from the boys when we put them to bed. They always make sure to smooch both cheeks.)
"Super Groper" (Aiden's mispronunciation of Super Grover from Sesame Street.)
"Why?" (Reid just started this up. Because no answer is satisfactory, we're already replying with "Because".)
"Where are you, Mommy?" (Usually shouted a nanosecond after I step into the bathroom.)
"Turn left. Turn right. Turn straight. At way. This way. Red stop. Green go." (My two little backseat drivers are very opinionated while I'm driving.)

The other day, the boys were making dinosaur/bear/monster noises. I was asking Aiden what he was and he replied with a "No", no matter what I said. Finally, I asked him what he was, and he said, "I a brudder." Awwww.
