Costume Preview

TA DA!!! Here's a preview of Aiden in his dinosaur costume. I went with the hoodie + felt route again. Auntie Jennifer- notice the Michigan color scheme? :)

This evening I finished up the tails:

We had some unanticipated excitement last night. Around 1 AM, I was almost finished grading my Stat tests. I just wanted to power through and get them done. Then I heard Reid getting sick up in their room. Several pajama and sheet changes later, we all managed to fall back asleep. I called in a sub after Reid got sick the second time around because I knew there was potential for no sleep if I tried to teach too. I fell asleep on their floor around 3 AM and moved into our room around 6 AM. Luckily Eric is home, so he got up with the boys this morning at 8 AM and I slept until 9:30! It was amazing. Reid seemed fine all day long. (Knock on wood.) It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I was able to make the dinosaur tails that I didn't think I was going to have time to get done. I'll worry about picking up the pieces at school tomorrow.

This afternoon, I posted this on Facebook:
As I've been sewing the boys' costumes the last couple of days, they have been asking "What doing?" I told them about Halloween and they have been discussing their strategy today. "Gwanma's house." "I push the ding-dong." "TRICK OR TREAT!" "Candy. Yum." I think they have it figured out. (Get ready, Gwanma Starrs!)
[I like how they almost immediately decided that going to Grandma's house would be the best bet.]
