Pre Estes Park

Yes, this post's title is a spoiler, because the next post will be of our trip to Estes Park. First, some photos from before the trip:

Diapers?!? Always, more diapers. I think we'll begin potty training once school gets started and we can get some help from daycare. I can't believe we may almost be done with diapers.
Aiden discovered the car chairs:
And CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I now put up a gate in front of the boys' door. I'm not sure why, but it has helped prevent them from getting up at the crack of dawn. It also allows me to take a shower without worrying about what the boys may be getting into.
Showing Eva how to climb the stairs. David, Kelsey, and Eva had spent the week in the mountains and were back in town for a few hours before flying home.
A fellow thumb-sucker!
Yum!
Heading to the airport:
Eva says, don't forget about me! I love seeing one of the boys' infant carriers:
What a measly single stroller looks like. ;) Weird to my eyes:
I accidentally sat on one of Reid's wooden spoons and broke it. Reid was not happy:

Aiden helping me clean house before my Iowa State friends arrive for our vacation in Estes Park:

Reid pitching in:
And taking a yogurt break. He LOVES yogurt and would eat it at every meal:

Heading over to Grandma's to water her plants while she was back in Minnesota and Wisconsin:

It had rained a little bit earlier in the day, much to the delight of the boys:

Daddy, back home with new books:
Eric with the boys at the park, while I made a trip to the grocery store:
Getting ready for Estes Park, grocery trip #1:
Trying on the pot holders, Aiden's turn:

Watching the home-run derby at the all-star break. Reid was working on his batting:
While Aiden was cruising:
Time to put his observations into action. (When he's playing catch with us, he now pauses, bent forward with his hands behind his back, like a pitcher waiting for the desired sign from the catcher.)

Daddy's turn:
For some reason, the boys gave Daddy a time-out. They also served the time with him:
At the end of the opening of Sesame Street, Grover flies through the air. The boys like to imitate his moves:
Car rides with Daddy:

Somersault time!

Breaking to give Grandma some grass:
And a smooch:

Pool time:
The boys prefer my water to theirs. Luckily, they're pretty good at sharing, with a little encouragement from us:

"Refilling" their sippy cups:

Estes Park, grocery store run #2:
The guests arrive tomorrow, so it's bath time:

Raiding Daddy's coin box:
