Bring on July

In addition taking much longer to settle down for naps and bedtime, the boys have been waking up an hour or more earlier than normal. On Sunday, I tried to talk them into snoozing a little longer in my bed. Wiggly two-year olds? Yeah right:
I pumped up a swimming pool that we got at Target:
I took a chance and asked the boys to stand next to each other for a picture. Which they did! Reid even had the idea to put his arm around Aiden. Awww!
The Instagram version:
Eva checking out the pool:
Lunch-time:

Cars in the pool? Why not:
Eva was wearing a pair of leg-warmers I made for her:
I was reaching to turn her for a better shot and said I need to see your legs. Aiden thought I was talking to him, so here are Aiden's legs:

Cheese!
Reid, after a major meltdown. Lots of those lately. Auntie Kelsey was kind enough to let him check out her iPhone:
A better shot of Eva. Love her cute smile:
Sunday afternoon. Finally trying out the pool:

Monday morning- Daddy was back home. YAAAAHHH!
Reid trying on Mama's hat:
Aiden trying on Mama's sunglasses. Still prefers them upside down:

Naptime- A little hard to see. The boys were holding hands:
Playing toss with Daddy:

Taking pics with Mama's phone:
I was reading the ISU alumni magazine when Aiden crawled up on the couch and decided to check it out. He looked at it for a long time:

Giving his doggy a ride:

Helping Mama finish up Candace's t-shirt quilt:

Whatcha doing, Mama?
 Passes our inspection, Mama:
They helped with the delivery too:
Happy 4th of July. I have yet to hear a firecracker, as there is a state-wide ban because of all the fires. Weird to not hear them this year. Playing outside:

What's more American than wrestle-mania?

And car racing:
Bedtime reading:
Back to missing Daddy who left this morning for a trip. The boys definitely miss him when he's gone, but we tried to have some fun:
