Park Avenue

Howdy!

Still here and busy-busy. I took the boys running a few times last week. During the mornings, it was a little trying on the boys to switch to Daylight Savings Time, but I'm loving the extra sunlight in the evening.
I thought these two scenes were pretty representative of the boys' interests right now. Aiden loves his cars and often will line them up. His favorite word is "truck". EVERY vehicle is a truck! He even freezes (inside) when he hears a truck driving around our cul-de-sac (outside). Reid watched a little bit of PGA golf on TV with Eric. Ever since then, he has been using his wooden spoons as golf clubs. Reid's favorite word is "ball", of course. While reading books, he points out anything that is round and calls it a "ball".
We've spent a ton of time at the park. The boys took me by surprise and decided to brave the tube slides. They loved it!
I've uploaded some new videos to YouTube (click here): "Daddy's Exercise Plan", "Tube Slide", and "Taking on the Big Slides". There are also seven, recently uploaded, older ones from their baby days.

Here the boys are watching a video that Eric recorded of them walking around in their Elmo and Cookie Monster towels. I still have to get that one uploaded, but enjoy the rest.
I could use some positive vibes sent my way. I've been working on a HUGE project this year; near the top of my bucket list. I'm trying to achieve National Board Certification (www.nbpts.org) and my portfolio has to be post-marked on March 31st. I have two more days of school and then the start of spring break. I wasn't planning on using spring break to work on it, but I had to put a lot of my work on hold for the past few months with everything else going on. I'll find out next November/December if I achieved. I have three years to achieve, but I am really hoping to get it done this year while I'm working part-time. It's been a great experience to go through- VERY reflective.
