I Love Ma!

Reid running down the hill with his daycare buddies:

Before I forget, I have to get this written down.

The boys were a tad on the fussy side towards the end of the week and over the weekend. I was holding Reid up in their nursery, trying to get him to calm down. At the same time, Aiden was throwing a fit in his crib. I decided to try to sing to both of them and see if that helped. I chose "Skin-a-ma-rink-a-dink-a-dink". During the last line of "I love you", Reid joined me. I said "I" and "love" and all of a sudden Reid said "Ma!" and pointed at me. Melt my heart. I sang that line two more times and he did it again, both times.

Today, when I went to go pick up the boys, I told Jocelyn what Reid had done. She laughed and said that she thought I was going to tell her that Reid said "I love Jocie", because that's what they sing at her house. Smart little guy- he knows how to play to the right audience.

There isn't a day that having the opportunity to be a mama is lost on me. I'm darn lucky.
