August Wrap Up

Snack time at daycare. Trey has been a good little buddy for the boys to play with. He and Aiden especially get along well through their common love of cars.
Eva turned 1! We gave her a few of our favorite books.
Every morning when I drop off the boys at Jocie's house, Aiden stays by the front door so he can watch me drive away. Reid sprints straight for the high chair so he can start gobbling down breakfast.
We just finished refinancing our house. On the afternoon of the first day of school, we had to have our house appraised, so the boys and I hung out outside trying to stay out of the way. They talked me into turning on the hose which provided plenty of entertainment.

Bath fun!
Friday night supper at Qdoba. Eric tends to leave for trips on Thursdays or Fridays. Usually we have supper with my mom. However, heading out with two tired toddlers on a Friday evening has proven to not be the best idea. On this occasional, they spent a lot of time crawling back and forth on the bench seating. Finally, my mom and I sat on both ends of the bench to trap the boys in.

In 14 years, Aiden will be heading out in a bigger ride. Hoping he fits into his little car for as long as possible.

Reid told me he was writing his name.

iPad time.

Two of my friends at school have been walking to school in the morning. When Eric's home, I leave the house early and park at school. I then jog/walk to meet up with them and walk back to school. When I can't meet them in the morning, I've been walking home with them after school and then walking back to get my van. It's about 40 minutes round trip. I've really enjoyed it, including the beautiful sunrises.
Brought a box home from school for the boys to play with.
Another great sunrise.
Fun in their box fort.

Splish splash.
As part of our bedtime routine, the boys are in charge of gathering up the books we read (usually about six) and stacking them at the top of the staircase.
