Aiden enjoying a horsey ride from Grandma:
Which way to Sturgis?
FaceTime with Eva:
I think this was the first time I've ever seen Eva fuss. She was getting hungry:
Aiden helping himself to some more cereal:
Time for shopping at Target. We take it slow so the boys can enjoy some cart surfing:
Peek-a-boo!
More diapers, Mama? Boring! Let's go back to the toy section.
The boys enjoyed helping me put our items on the conveyor belt:
Finally made it to the post office to mail a package to cousin Julie. The boys did pretty well and luckily we beat the noon-time crowd, but they were both more than ready to get home for lunch. Reid was saying "No cheese! Hot dogs. Cheese." Which means: Stop taking pictures, Mama! (They sometimes refer to my phone as "Cheese".) We want to go home and eat hot dogs and mac and cheese. NOW!!!!
Head-butting or kissing? Sometimes it's hard to tell:
Batting practice:
Back to driving for Aiden:
Monkeying around:
Then Reid decided to check out what was going on:
Cheese!
Reid brought over the birth announcement for my cousin Mark's son. He waved around and said "Be-be! Be-be!" MY babies are growing up too fast.
Monkeying around in the backyard:
Post rainstorm fun. Good thing it was bath night:
I tracked Eric as he flew to and from Port Au Prince, Haiti today. He's back in the ol' USA tonight:
One too many bean bag chairs?
They were watching Sesame Street. I was surprised Reid let Aiden hang out on the same bean bag chair together for so long. (This is my favorite part of Elmo's World- Elmo asks kids how to do something. He always asks a baby too. I love the baby's reaction because the baby never quite knows what's going on.)
Reid asked me to play catch with him after lunch. He still refuses to wear his hat high enough to see.
His throws are usually pretty accurate (with and without the hat) and he hit me in the stomach while I was taking this picture:
Some airplane shots for Eric. It was flying low and looked vintage. Eric, name that airplane:
Taken using the AutoStitch app:
Aiden really looks like pictures of Eric as a little kid in this one:
He was watching a car drive away:
Walking back from Grandma's house:
Aiden was a little mixed up about which way his glasses should go, but they got the job done:
I completed a little Pinterest-inspired project today:
I used 5x7 frames from Pottery Barn which match some other ones I had already used on the hallway wall:
The three photos on the wall include Eric and I with the boys. I wanted to display photos with our extended family too and picked some of my favorites from the past couple of years.

Hi Keri - I just showed the kids your recent blog posts. They giggled a lot! Thomas liked the 'headbutting or kissing' caption.
I emailed them the link so they can visit on their own. :)
Hope you're enjoying your time off!
Love, Amy
