It's been HOT here the past couple of weeks. I decided to break out the sprinkler a couple of times, which the boys have enjoyed.
Aiden chasing a butterfly:
I let the boys jump on the bed while I made breakfast. When I went upstairs before nap time, I discovered that they had emptied out half the linen closet into the guest bedroom.
Playing with the parking ramp:
Checking out Grandma's photos:
Aiden still doesn't quite have the sunglasses wearing figured out:
Walking home from Grandma's:
This was after Eric had been gone for six days on a trip. Both boys were very glad to have him home:
Aiden taking notes on how to mow:
Reid preferred the safety of my lap:
Reid sweeping up the grass after Eric was done:
I played a little soccer with Reid. He seemed to prefer to kick with his left foot:
Pausing for the ice cream truck. They don't know they can actually buy ice cream from the ice cream truck, yet.
My grocery shopping buddies:
Playing outside:
And inside:
Eric left town again on Thursday, so on Friday we took a trip to IKEA with Grandma. The boys thought it was pretty neat place:
They were a little concerned any time an announcement was made over the intercom:
Helping Grandma with checkout:
Both of them tried to climb out of their cribs at the same time and ended up getting stuck:
An IKEA purchase- a shelving unit turned sideways. I got the idea from good ol' Pinterest:
Aiden "helping" me make s'more bars for Grandma's birthday:
I stepped away and discovered that Aiden had helped himself to a little snack:
I removed that peanut butter cup and let Aiden and Reid finish it:
Reid approved:
More help from my sou chefs:
Yesterday we were invited to cousin John's. We got to check out their neighborhood pool. The temperature was 104 degrees, so it was still plenty hot when we went swimming before supper:
They were a little unsure at first:
Jacob showed them how it's done:
Happy Birthday, Grandma!
Grandma with the 3 Musketeers:
They were definitely tuckered out from all the fun:
Heading into church this morning, six years after Eric and I were married there. Happy Anniversary, Eric!
Reid was only willing to sit at the table if it was on his own terms. Any time I tried to push him closer, he pushed himself away. Ahhh, life with two-year olds.
Yesterday- Some pictures from my mom's camera:
