Sunrise on the way to school:
Had a meeting at 7:00 AM with the other Algebra 2 teachers. Even though I'm not teaching Algebra 2 this semester, I'm trying to stay connected, as I'll probably teach it again next year. Back to my room to get ready for class:
The bags I haul back and forth to school/home each day:
The view from the end of E-wing. Eric has played at the golf course in the background. Not good golfing conditions right now:

Looking back down the hallway toward my classroom, which is in the last alcove on the right. There is a Spanish class next on one side and a teacher office on the other side of my classroom. My good friends Sandy and Annessa have their rooms in the first alcove on the left. I like being so close to them:
Lots of decor all over my room. Cy (from ISU), Brainy Smurf from a kids' meal when we traveled to Ohio this summer, a magnet from Eric's parents ("Teachers plant seeds of knowledge that will grow forever." I really liked that Christmas present.), our wedding announcement in the local newspaper, St. Olaf pennant, Wyoming native sticker, notepad from my Grandma Starrs:
Taught my two classes, worked on a little bit of school work (mostly talked with a couple of teachers), and I arrived home as the boys were finishing lunch. They vetoed soup and ended up with peanut butter and jelly. It will be nice when they're a little more accepting of foods because it's still causing frustration and stress. They're still getting used to some foods, so I don't feel like we can starve them if they don't like something.
Aiden was back to playing with cars:

Reid wanted to check out my water bottle:
And explore a few kitchen drawers:
Negotiating whether it was time for nap. We are now finally on a one-nap schedule and it's going much better than when we tried it a couple of months ago. Usually, we put them down between 12:30 and 1:00.
The nursery waiting for its occupants:
Once we get to the nursery, we read some books:
I started to put my hand on Aiden's rail to calm him down. Reid liked it too, so I put my hand on Reid's rail and my elbow on Aiden's. It's been a popular solution. Occasionally, I need both hands to turn the pages, but with most of the board books, I can use one hand:
Reading "Shake a Leg". This is the part where you "pat your head". They like to pat our heads, instead. They also like to honk our noses and wiggle our ears, instead of their own.
"Make a muscle". We do not perform on cue, Mama:
Once they're down, I eat lunch and catch up on my favorite websites:
Head upstairs and read:
And rest:
Honk-shoo:
Supper time. Aiden pushed a chair over to the island so he could supervise the pancake making:
Cheese:
Reid's little worried look. Are we ever going to eat?
More supervising:

In the meantime, Eric folded laundry, while Reid turned into Cookie Monster:

Finally, the first pancakes were done, so Reid was happy to taste-test:
Aiden brought in a monkey (underneath his chest) and laid down in the middle of the kitchen.
Reid saying/signing "more":
Eric making scrambled eggs:
Yum, yum, yum:
Monkey waiting for Aiden to be done:

Watching college hoops and playing until bedtime:

Time for jammies:

Reading:

After reading, it's off to bed between 7:30 - 8:00:
Pocketbooth fun:

Grandma has a name too- it's "MA":
Off to bed for me. Hope you had a good day!
