Merry Christmas!

Ready. Set. Go!
The boys ran about 50 sprints on Christmas Eve. They were really cute and even waited until I said "Go!" before they started. Well, there was an occasional false start. Or two.
They also helped me make sugar cookies for Santa.

Christmas morning. We didn't open all of the presents right away. While I was busy cooking Swedish meatballs (Eric's favorite), we had the boys open a couple of their presents to buy me some time.

Reid was still carrying around the bottle of sprinkles from the sugar cookies we made for Santa the night before.

Grandpa and Grandma came over for Christmas noon dinner. The boys did a decent job of handing out presents.
Although, Reid did deliver a gift to Grandpa about five times before he was finally willing to pass it over.

Reid also enjoyed helping Grandma open her presents.

Grandpa and Grandma bought PlasmaCars for the boys. The boys need to grow into them a little bit to fully make them work, but they like to scoot around on them. However, Eric and I have enjoyed them.

While trying to take a picture of Reid, Aiden tried to get in on the action:

More PlasmaCar time. Aiden decided to he wanted to push us.

While Reid opted for a ride-along.

We had to turn on a light to get decent pictures. The boys are still extremely interested in lights.
Then Mama did a little chasing and tickling.

We downloaded a few apps on our iPads to try to entertain the boys on our flights to and from Ohio. It was a little too noisy for the boys to be able to hear the iPad on the plane and we couldn't get them to keep their headphones on. We didn't even bother getting them out on the way home. They have enjoyed looking at the apps at home. Here they are checking out "Another Monster at the End of this Book."

Fun time with Daddy and some good smiling pictures of Reid:

In the mean time, Aiden was calmly playing with one of his cars.

Later on, Aiden was back to pushing duty.

The boys have continued their research project to see if toddlers can survive on carbs alone. Cooking hasn't been very fun lately. However, tonight we were pleasantly surprised when the boys gobbled up dinner. Thank you Iowa Pork Producers. The ham was a hit.

Merry Christmas to you too! Looks like you ALL enjoyed the plasma cars. Wish those existed when our kids were little. :)
