December Catch-Up

Eric and I had been talking about buying something more physical for the boys to play with. We recently found this set by Playhut.

More train time.

Sometimes this head zoo keeper fails.

Some of my Grandma Starrs' Department 56 Christmas village.

More playing.

Snuggling with Mama after a nap.

As predicted, the boxes and wrapping paper have been a big hit.

The boys have been working walking up and down the stairs. I guess they decided to set up a little mini training course.

Spaghetti dinner at Grandma's house.

Helping Mama in the kitchen.

I took the boys to daycare for a few days when my dad was feeling under the weather. They are really into lights lately. On this particular morning they were pointing out the lights in the van to me.

Aiden monkeying around with Grandma.
Playing with Grandma's coasters and a few decorative eggs. Reid ended up hiding a few of the eggs. Grandma just reported that she found the last one.

Reid has figured out how to turn the fan off and on in the nursery. He's very proud of that accomplishment.

Again with the help in the kitchen.

I took the boys to Target the other day when I needed to finish up some Christmas shopping. I parked next to a cart return to be able to try out one of the kiddie carts. Worked pretty well. I think this will be the last year that I'll be able to buy Christmas presents for the boys while they're with me.

My elves helping me wrap presents.

Looks like we'll have a white Christmas.

The boys were particularly fussy the day after we returned from Ohio. On this day, they boycotted their high chairs in favor of sitting at the table. Sometimes double temper tantrums are my kryptonite. They won this round.

More fun with packaging.

More playing.

The Playhut is the most fun when Daddy helps out.
