7th Annual Pi Mile = Success

We had 40-50 more participants sign up this morning, so I think we ended up with around 250 total. We lucked out with some beautiful weather.

Eric brought the boys over, but they were very unimpressed to be there. They didn't stick around long and luckily both of them are taking a nap right now. I wasn't sure if they would be excited to see all the different people or not. I guess not.

One of the neighborhoods in our articulation area has great trails winding through open space. It's a tough course because it's out and back. Unfortunately, the up part is during the last half of the race.

I did see some deer when I was putting the cones out on the course a couple of hours before the race. I also saw an elk, but didn't try to take a picture because it was lying down in the shade.

Some of my fellow math teachers. I couldn't do it without their help, as well as all of the help from my parents and Eric. After 7 years, we're a pretty well-oiled machine when it comes to putting this race on.
