December Daily 25 - 31

December 25th:
I did a lot of sewing during my first week of break, so I thought taking a picture of my sewing machine would be appropriate. Of course, right after I took this picture, the bobbin case fell apart. I managed to get it put back together again and secured in place. Next, I broke a needle and discovered that I had no replacements in the entire house. Mind you, this was on Christmas Day. The ONE day of the entire year when you can't go shopping. I took that as I sign that I was meant to relax for the rest of the day.
Projects included place mats and napkins for Kelsey and David, a bag for Kelsey's September birthday (which still isn't done!), and a doggie bed for Stooey.

December 26th:
Arrival of the rents- Ma making lefse and Dad surfing the internet.

December 27th:
Ma and I attended a musical performance of Little House on the Prairie. Overall, it was pretty good; we both found it difficult to get used to Melissa Gilbert playing the role of Ma instead of Laura.
I told Ma that she needed one of the "Ma" t-shirts. She pointed out that I would be needing one before too long as well. They were also selling "Half-pint" t-shirts. Tickets were steep enough- we decided we didn't need any souvenirs.

December 28th:
The arrival of David, Kelsey, and Stooey. Lukily, Stooey approves of the doggie bed I sewed for him. In fact, David called this afternoon to report that Stooey slept through the night until they finally woke him up this morning. Must be the bed. (Notice the fabric- it has weenie dogs dressed in colorful sweaters. I was so excited to find this fabric.)

December 29th:
Dad, David, Eric, and I drove up to Cheyenne to visit Grandma Starrs. This may be one of my favorite pictures of the entire month.

December 30th:
The Boy and his Dog.

December 31st:
An abundance of technology- there were six laptops present this week, each of us now owns one.

A few bonus pictures...

We attended the Trail of Lights at the near-by Botanic Gardens on Wednesday night.

Week 22(taken Dec 30th). Eric and I went to the doctor on Thursday for a checkup. My blood pressure was 102/70. Yep, 102! Can you tell I'm on break? The fundal measurent was 30 cm. The nurse found Baby B's pulse rate first: 136 beats per minute. When she moved on to Baby A, he was squirming around so much that the nurse had an awful time trying to hear the pulse and making sure she wasn't hearing Baby B again. She finally detmined that his pulse rate was 152 beats per minute, which was explained by all that squirming.

Friday, January 1st:
Stooey preparing to leave. David and Kelsey said that whenever they start packing up and getting ready to leave, Stooey immediately goes to his travel kennel. He must be worried they're going to forget about him and leave him behind. No one could forget Stooey!

Placemats and napkins...did you make the pattern yourself or find it somewhere? Are you open for sharing? (I'm a sucker for table linens!) :)
