"Computational Knowledge Engine"

Checked out a website today that intrigued my nerdiness: Wolfram Alpha. I first became familiar with Wolfram when we used their Mathematica computer program in calculus at ISU. Loved trying to program complicated 3-D images. This program could also power through derivatives and integrals at amazing speed, back in the ol' college days. Wonder what the latest version can do- I'm sure it has some pretty amazing bells and whistles.

Anyway... Wolfram Alpha is dubbed as not just a search engine, but a "Computational Knowledge Engine". It refers to its own Mathematica program when you ask it to do a math problem:

It computes and reports out so much more. Tested it with my name- all sorts of info about "Keri" was reported. I learned that the most common age for a person named Keri is 35 years old. I also enjoyed the graph of its popularity.


I think this will amuse me for hours.
