After all four of us battled sickness this week, we finally celebrated Eric's birthday on Saturday. His actually birthday was on Tuesday, but both Eric and I were home sick while the boys were at preschool. After I finished up some school work I had to take care of, I zonked out for a few hours, as did Eric.
Luckily, we're now mostly on the mend. The boys helped me with some of the cooking and had their first try at cracking eggs. They did pretty well and I only had to fish out a couple of pieces of egg shell.

I made them hold their hands up in the air so they wouldn't get raw egg all over.
