The Rest of February

Attempting to do some catch-up on the ol' blog:

My National Board certificate:
Hanging out in the stadium seating:
Showing Grandma her Valentine's Day card decorated with lots of Cars stickers and marker:

I gave Eva a red towel with hearts for her kitchen. She's also modeling some of my leg-warmers:
Aiden driving cars while Daddy and Reid work on one of the puzzles from Jennifer and Shane:
Eva in one of the dresses I made for her... plus Stooey!

We began scouting new furniture over Presidents Day Weekend. When we moved into our house, we just merged all of our bachelorhood furniture together. We were initially looking at getting a sectional but decided it wouldn't fit. We haven't had time to go looking again so it may not happen until this summer. The boys did pretty well.
Joe Cool:
How about a Rockies chair, Mommy?
New area rug?
Back home for "piggy" rides from Daddy:

An after-school trip to the grocery store:

Waiting for the water to turn on in the produce section. There is a recording of thunder that sounds right before the water falls. Anyone else hang out in the produce section for an abnormally long amount of time?

On Presidents Day, I was invited to the State Capitol to be honored on the House floor with other National Board teachers from Colorado.

When I arrived back home, the boys were working on drawing shapes and putting together puzzles:

Reid helping us take measurements:

Stickers and markers:

Jocie making snowballs for the boys after one of our good snows:
Reid and I though it was too cold to be outside:

But Aiden always thinks it's a good time for a drive:
Honk-shoe:
Music time:

Building:
Riding:
Heading to the grocery store to stock up before a big storm:

Hanging out:

Snowman built with Daddy. The boys were so proud:
The next morning, in better light:
Sunrise:
An old picture of the State Capitol that I randomly came across online:
Yet another trip to the grocery store means more time hanging out in the produce section:
Wait for it.
Success!!!

One of my students made me a bowl in pottery class:

Soccer time:
