8 Months Old

The boys turned 8 months old a week ago. I continued with the tradition of taking their pictures on the 23rd, plus a couple of close-up shots on the 24th. We finally were able to weigh and measure them this morning. Reid is 19.6 lbs and 29.5 inches, while Aiden is 19 lbs and 28.5 inches.

They continue to enjoy time in the bouncers. Santa also brought them a walker which they've checked out a couple of times. We didn't think Aiden was quite tall enough to use the walker, but once I showed him how to sit forward, he quickly figured out how to scoot. Reid's tall enough, but prefers to scoot backwards! We've also started trying to introduce finger foods and sippy cups. (Thanks, friends, for your suggestions on how to introduce those.)

As you can imagine, it's getting more and more difficult to capture a photo of these movers and shakers! A couple of times I had to interrupt our photo session to make more room on my camera's memory card. Within a few seconds, the boys had flipped over and turned sideways.
