Philadelphia

Philadelphia photos!

On Saturday, June 28th, I flew up to Detroit to join Eric on his trip in-progress. It was a trip of opposites. The flights that looked like they would have plenty of room for me, were full. The ones which we thought would be unlikely for me to get on, had plenty of room. Ahh, summer travel. After a few tears from my onion eyes (only a couple, I swear), the wonderful gate agent got me on Eric's flight from Detroit to Philadelphia. It was a close one- I almost had to turn around and go back to Denver. Eric landed that leg of the trip- it was very cool to know my husband was the one who was landing the plane. The next day, Sunday, we took on the historic sites of Philadelphia. After a few hot and humid hours, we managed to see quite a bit. We went back to the hotel and returned to Detroit that evening.
I could write a series of travel books:
72 Hours in Hawaii,
Vancouver- 24 Hours of International Rain,
Christmas in Eugene, and
Free to Explore Philly in an Afternoon.
