My Run

I thought it would be neat to record where my daily (near-daily?) run takes me. I've really enjoyed being able to run so much this summer. I hook up the i-pod and make a loop around our subdivision, Trailmark, which takes me about 25-30 minutes. (Perhaps it's time to add some more distance.)
Some animals I've been able to see: geese, prairie dogs, ducks, rabbits, a fox, and even a coyote. The strangest sight: a man riding on a unicycle while taking his golden retriever for a walk.

Home, home on the range

Fall-back job option?

Well, if the sales job doesn't work out, at least we know David can shine shoes. Good job Boy.

Read any good books lately?

Two books I've read recently which I really enjoyed and would recommend:
"Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert
and
"The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger

"Eat, Pray, Love" is a non-fiction book about a writer who spent a year living abroad in Italy, India, and Indonesia (Bali). Reading about her self-healing and spiritual journey was facinating.

"The Time Traveler's Wife" is about a man who travels through time. I definitely identified with the wife whose husband was constantly coming and going. I'm thankful I can still talk to Eric when he's not here.

What books would you recommend? Feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments section.

From Blog to Book

Heard about this site which offers the option of turning a blog into a book. I haven't tried it yet, but would like to.
